Edwardian Display Cabinet
Circa 1905. This period was the last hoorah for fine mahogany
furniture carried over from the Victorian age. This
satinwood-boxwood inlaid Edwardian china cabinet combines the
finest materials and combination of machine and hand craftsmanship.
The center pair of beveled glass doors are surmounted by inlaid
boxwood freize of corn husk swags. The concave glass side panels
are intact and lighten up this large size cabinet. A platform stretcher
base with tapered is topped by a graceful fretted apron. There is
new lighting and a moiré fabric interior lining further enhances the
appeal of this splendid cabinet
